It’s like DreamWorks already forgot they’re releasing ‘Kung Fu Panda’ this weekend. First the new cast announcement and now they’re sending out the first production stills of ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.’ Interesting timing.

Not much changed since the first one. Except for the penguins, these shots could’ve just as well been taken from the first movie. I wonder how much of the budget goes into the ‘expensive voices’ of the characters.

Comedian Seth Rogen is about to take on the classic ‘Green Hornet.’ The masked crime fighter Britt Reid was originally created for a radio station in the 1930s, but featured in several movies and TV series after that. While the original ‘hero’ wasn’t a comical guy, Rogen hasn’t decided if he will take the movie into a serious or comical direction.

Seth Rogen will also write the script for the crime picture. He says the movie is “not an origin story … it’s more like a regular action movie. [...] It’s a very intense action movie and the relationship between Green Hornet and Kato, a lot of comedy comes from that.“
