Actors: George Clooney stares at goat

George Clooney Stare Goats

How can a movie with the title ‘Men Who Stare at Goats’ turn into something bad? By adding George Clooney to the cast? I don’t think so. By letting Grant Heslov (’Good Night, and Good Luck’) write the script? Not in my opinion. Both are respectable guys. But what about a story which revolves around an US army unit that was to use paranormal powers to defeat their enemies. I don’t know, maybe.

It apparently topped a list of best unproduced scripts around in 2007. I don’t know if that’s something to be proud of either. That’s like saying you were the best of the people who didn’t make it. The script’s title is based on the idea you could kill a goat by staring at it. What’s so strange about that? Isn’t it the first trick you learn as a farmer? No? You think it’s time for me to go to bed now? I agree.. Later guys.

Ellen Page to do Jane Eyre after whipping it

Ellen Page Jane Eyre

Ellen Page is a busy girl. ‘Juno’ is storming the DVD stores, ’Smart People’ is pulling in the indie crowd and meanwhile she’s getting ready to film Drew Barrymore’s ‘Whip It!’ this summer.

To fill the holes in her schedule, she has now also signed on to play Jane Eyre, produced by BBC Films and Ruby Films. “She put a whole different complexion on Jane Eyre,” Christine Langan of BBC Films said. The 1847 classic has a long way to come though, since they are still looking for directors and co-producers.

Workaholic or just a passion for her work, Ellen Page is getting ready to rise to heaven.
