The Incredible Hulk Happening

The weekend in quotes will give you a general idea of the upcoming movies this weekend. As you might have expected, the reviews for ‘The Happening’ weren’t favorable. Currently, the M. Night Shyamalan movie has a Metacritic score of 4.6, based on just 4 reviews. The strange thing is, all the reviewers gave the movie a 5.0. Logic tells us the Metacritic score should be 5.0. ‘The Incredible Hulk’ is doing better, but not great. A Metacritic score of 6.8. Well below Iron Man’s 7.8, but beating Indy’s 6.5. Let’s take a look at the actual quotes.

‘Iron Man 2′ starts filming March 2009

Iron Man Favreau Howard Downey Jr. War Machine

Nobody seems to have officially signed for ‘Iron Man 2,’ according to director Jon Favreau. In all his interviews he talks like is currently been left in the dark by Marvel. Or is he just playing his audience? Is he just trying to get a bigger paycheck after the first success? Or does Marvel want some fresh blood and replace the director? Now that would be harsh.

In any case, Tony Stark’s buddy Terrence Howard is saying HE will be shooting ‘Iron Man 2′ March next year, according to an article at Military.com. This gives Marvel some time to get the final contracts ready. But with pre-production and all, I’d say at least the director should have signed this fall.
