The Incredible Hulk Edward Norton Tracking Document

Marvel has tried everything they can to distinguish ‘The Incredible Hulk’ from Ang Lee’s movie in 2003. But can the couple of million visitors be convinced to see another Hulk movie that, well, isn’t plain awful? Tracking numbers indicate so. The grittier look, the new cast and of course the positive ‘Iron Man’ buzz have given the public some merit to see the new movie.

‘Iron Man 2′ starts filming March 2009

Iron Man Favreau Howard Downey Jr. War Machine

Nobody seems to have officially signed for ‘Iron Man 2,’ according to director Jon Favreau. In all his interviews he talks like is currently been left in the dark by Marvel. Or is he just playing his audience? Is he just trying to get a bigger paycheck after the first success? Or does Marvel want some fresh blood and replace the director? Now that would be harsh.

In any case, Tony Stark’s buddy Terrence Howard is saying HE will be shooting ‘Iron Man 2′ March next year, according to an article at Military.com. This gives Marvel some time to get the final contracts ready. But with pre-production and all, I’d say at least the director should have signed this fall.

Favreau still not signed for ‘Iron Man 2′

Jon Favreau Iron Man

Jon Favreau had some interesting remarks about ‘Iron Man 2′ on the Howard Stern show. First Stern managed to pull out the fact Jon Favreau got $4 million for directing ‘Iron Man’ plus a percentage of the movies’ profit. And secondly, Favreau still hasn’t signed on for part two. None of the actors have been officially confirmed either.

They’ve all signed for three but it doesn’t work that way,” Favreau said. When a movie beats all expectations, contracts don’t mather anymore according to Favreau. He is basically saying the deals made before ‘Iron Man’ are now old, because the movie is making loads of money. He’s right, you don’t want to piss off Robert Downey Jr. at this point. But a contract is a contract. Even Edward Norton had to do ‘The Italian Job’ after signing a three picture deal before. Maybe Favreau is also looking for a bigger paycheck himself?
