Actors: Dwight Schrute in ‘Transformers 2′

Dwight with Transformer

Dwight Schrute, by some known as Rainn Wilson, will have a small part in the new ‘Transformers’ movie. Will Michael Bay actually put some fun into his new $200 million toy project? First Jonah Hill almost made the cast and now ‘The Office’ funnyman Rainn Wilson. “Isn’t that crazy?,” Wilson said. He’ll play a college professor. “A professor that turns into a car that turns into a robot,” he added. Sadly that isn’t true.

‘Transformers 2′ will be shooting in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania June 2-4. Paramount told residents the shoot will include “both camera and military helicopters, large scale pyrotechnics, prop guns and squibs, and large lights.” I’m sure some photos will turn up around that time.

Actors: Jonah Hill working on ‘21 Jump Street’

Jonah Hill 21 Jump Street

Entertainment Weekly is putting out news about Jonah Hill as if he’s the biggest thing in Hollywood right now. First he was going to do Transformers 2. Then he wasn’t after all. And now he apparently is working on a ‘21 Jump Street’ movie. Not even as an actor at this moment, but to write the screenplay and serve as executive producer for the teen movie.

Sony Pictures is developing the picture with the series creator Stephen J. Cannell producing. I still have the feeling it is Jonah Hill himself who is passing on all this news to EW.

No jumping around for Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill Transformers 2

DreamWorks just took the fun out of ‘Transformers 2′ again. We reported last week how Jonah Hill was in talks to be LaBeouf’s sidekick, but whoever leaked that news didn’t help. DreamWorks and Michael Bay are moving on.

Hill seems to be too though, he is now considered to have a small role in ‘Night at the Museum 2,’ with Ben Stiller. Say, could that Entertainment Weekly leak be Jonah Hill himself?
