Taking a look at the overseas box office, we see ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ doing well in its current territories. But Caspian’s rollout is spanning over two months, which seems old-fashioned for such a big movie.
Paramount released ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Indiana Jones 4′ simultaneous, why can’t Disney do the same? Here are the latest tracking numbers for ‘You Don’t Mess with the Zohan’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda,’ before the first box office numbers come in. We have to adjust the final estimates down a little. Adam Sandler’s ‘Zohan’ is now looking to at least top $30 million and Jack Black’s ‘Kung Fu Panda’ will probably cross $45 million. Considering how well ‘Sex and the City’ is still doing, the chick flick will hold up well and gross at least another $25 million this weekend.
