![]() | Guy Ritchie wants to create a mystery. He has signed to direct Warner Bros’ ‘Sherlock Holmes.’ The studio wants to release the detective feature in 2010 and would like to display a more adventurous Holmes. Apparently he will be boxing and sword fighting, like in the new comic book. Is this the same pipe-smoking Sherlock Holmes we are talking about? The character, created by writer Arthur Conan Doyle in the 19th century, featured in over 200 films and TV shows since his first book. Guy Ritchie will also rewrite and polish the script by Tony Peckham. |
